Kevin S. McGill is a trial attorney with extensive experience and a steadfast commitment to justice. His passion for helping people has driven him throughout his education and legal career.
Born and raised in East Amherst, New York, Kevin attended SUNY Buffalo, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Education.
Kevin then moved to Miami to attend the University of Miami School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor. While excelling in his studies and extracurricular activities, he began his legal journey as an intern for Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Diane V. Ward. He further honed his skills at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office as a certified legal intern, trying numerous misdemeanor and felony cases.
After graduating from Miami Law and recognizing his passion for criminal defense, Kevin spent nearly two years at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office, continuing to handle both misdemeanor and felony cases.
Transitioning to private practice, Kevin briefly defended insurance companies in personal injury cases before co-founding GMV Law Group, LLP.
At GMV Law Group, Kevin continues to provide expert advocacy, focusing on personal injury and criminal defense. He is an active member of the Broward and Florida Associations for Criminal Defense Lawyers.
